Queen Esther, the heroine of the Purim story, wasn’t just a queen—she was a leader who took a stand when it mattered most. Her bravery and wisdom continue to inspire women and girls today.

When her cousin Mordechai urged her to speak up to King Ahasuerus to save the Jewish people from destruction, she hesitated. Approaching the king uninvited could mean death. But with encouragement, she found her inner strength and chose to act.

Esther didn’t rush into action blindly—she used strategy, patience, and wisdom. She fasted and prayed for three days, gathering strength and support before approaching the king. When the time was right, she spoke with confidence and intelligence, revealing her Jewish identity and exposing Haman’s evil plan. Her courage saved an entire nation.
